Thiem Automotive was founded by Brad & Dori Thiem in 2002. Living in Arizona for over 35 years, Brad & Dori founded their business with the firm belief that exceptional quality vehicle repair services can be provided at a reasonable price. Service is the foundation on which the husband-wife team have built this thriving Southwest Valley business. While Dori, ASE certified, makes sure the front end of the business maintains the hight customer service standards, Brad leads a team of ASE certified technicians, with over 60 years of combined experience, insuring the highest quality repair is delivered. 

Brad continuously strives to improve the technical level of this team through training and example. He has earned the coveted ASE Certified Master Technican as well as the prestigious ASE Automotive Advanced Engine Performance and the challenging ASE Certified Driveability & Electrical Expert Technician.

A prime example of Thiem Automotive commitment to excellence is the fact that they are one of a few repair facilities authorized to provide services for the Maricopa County Vehicle Repair & Retrofit Program. This unique program is aimed at helping owners of older vehicles to comply with emission laws thus making a material contribution to reducing unwanted emissions and enhancing the air quality of Maricopa County. Owners of vehicles 12 years and older (specifically 1967 - 1997) can get financial assistance from Maricopa County up to $550. The program is open to all owners of AZ titled and registered vehicles and there are no financial requirements or verifications. Brad Thiem's career has been dedicated to automotive maintenance and restoration. He began working on motorcycles at the early age of 12, maintaining his own cycle. His automotive repair and restoration career progressed over the years with ever increasing responsibility and management with various Phoenix area automotive repair faculties. Brad and his wife Dori finally realized their dream of owning a vehicle repair business with the creation of Thiem Automotive in Avondale, Arizona.

Brad's hobbies reflect his commitment to the mechanical and technical automotive world, when at the age of 17 he completely restored a 1964 Pontiac GTO. He continues this passion via his collection of 1949 Cadillac's. Thiem Automotive reflects Brad's passion having restored customer vehicles ranging from a 1927 Franklin through maintaining the most sophisticated vehicles roaming the roads today.
